Unify Communications Honoured with Queen’s Award
Bristol Company Recipient of Highest Honour for British Businesses
Unify Communications, a specialist cloud service integrator providing hosted and true cloud telecommunications and contact centre solutions, is delighted to announce it is recipient of the 2020 Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation.
Now in its 54th year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the UK’s most prestigious business awards. Widely recognised as a highly valued mark of excellence, across many sectors in a diverse and competitive business market, the awards are the highest UK Government accolade for a British business and are presented on the Queen’s birthday each year. They honour 220 UK businesses for their contribution to international trade, innovation, sustainable development and promoting opportunity.
Cloud and telecoms communication company Unify has been awarded a prize in the innovation category. CEO Russell Attwood comments:
“We are honoured to have been included by the Prime Minister and Her Majesty the Queen on the list of businesses in this year’s Queen’s Awards for Enterprise. It’s tremendous recognition for our team to have their hard work and expertise recognised in this way and a powerful reflection of the skill, commitment and culture which lies at the heart of our business.”
“The progress we have made as a business since we started in 2012 has exceeded all expectations and we can’t wait to see what the future holds. Our ambition is to continue to enrich and improve our solutions and services and become the undisputed partner of choice for organisations looking to transform their customer contact.”
Winners of The Queen’s Awards enjoy a company visit by a Royal representative, a Lord Lieutenant, during the year to present a presentational item and are also entitled to use The Queen’s Award Emblem in advertising, marketing and on packaging for a period of five years as a symbol of their quality and success.
Representatives from Unify Communications will also attend a prestigious award winners’ reception at Buckingham Palace, hosted by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, later in the year.
